01

Who handles your information

The Black Tape Productions manages enquiries and personal information submitted through this website. Contact inquiry@theblacktapeproductions.com for privacy questions or requests. Your project agreement or invoice identifies the contracting entity for a booked service.

02

Information we receive

Enquiry information includes your name, company, email, phone number, service category, project description, preferred timeline and any optional budget or files you provide. Event submissions can also include brand, collection, partnership and guest-interest details.

Artist applications and auditions can include location, professional experience, portfolios, photographs, video and other role-relevant profile information. Please avoid sending identity documents, financial details or sensitive personal information unless required through an agreed process.

When optional tracking is enabled, Google or Meta may receive page and interaction events, device/browser information, online identifiers and network information such as an IP address. With marketing permission we also store campaign parameters and click identifiers to associate an enquiry with its source. Hosting, security and image-delivery providers necessarily receive connection data when serving requested content.

03

Why we use information and our grounds for doing so

To respond to a request, prepare a quotation and deliver a booked service, we process relevant information to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform a contract, where those grounds apply. For a business contact acting for an organisation, our legitimate interest is handling that organisation’s genuine enquiry and relationship.

We use limited information for security, spam prevention, service administration, record keeping and resolving disputes based on applicable legal duties or legitimate interests in protecting and running our services. Such use must be necessary and balanced against your rights.

Optional analytics, advertising measurement and browser-based campaign attribution rely on your separate privacy choices. Agreeing to be contacted about an enquiry is not permission for unrelated promotional messages. You can reject optional tracking and still enquire. We seek separate permission where required for promotional communications.

04

Required and optional information

Fields marked required are needed to process the particular request; without them we may be unable to respond or assess it. Indicative budget in the short commercial enquiry is optional. Choosing not to allow analytics or marketing does not prevent an enquiry, application or booking request.

05

Who receives information

Access is limited to authorised team members and service providers supporting hosting, storage, email, security and our enquiry-management systems. Production, casting or event partners receive relevant details where needed to evaluate or deliver your requested project or application.

We use Google Analytics for permitted analytics and Google Ads and Meta Pixel for permitted advertising measurement, when configured. Their processing is also described in their own policies. The website’s measurement event payloads exclude submitted names, email addresses, phone numbers, project messages and lead reference numbers.

We do not sell enquiry contact lists. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend legal claims. We do not make your private enquiry publicly searchable.

06

International processing

TBTP operates in India. Hosting, communications, content delivery and measurement providers may process data in India and other countries. Choosing to load an external video connects you to its provider.

Where GDPR or another applicable law requires safeguards for a restricted international transfer, the relevant transfer must use a permitted mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can contact us for information about recipients, processing locations and safeguards relevant to your data. Cookie acceptance does not by itself authorise every international transfer.

07

Retention and deletion

We retain enquiries while assessing, responding to and following up the request. Records associated with a booking or project may be needed for delivery, payment, accounting, legal obligations and the establishment or defence of claims. The retention criteria are the purpose, status of the relationship, applicable record-keeping requirements and any outstanding dispute.

Application and event records are retained in relation to the opportunity or event and any separately agreed continuing relationship. Contact us to request removal of information no longer needed. Deletion can be restricted by an applicable legal obligation or a necessary legal claim; we will explain a relevant restriction.

Browser privacy choices expire after 180 days. Local campaign attribution expires after 90 days and is removed when preferences change. These browser periods are separate from retention of submitted enquiries, backups and provider-held measurement data. Removing a browser cookie does not delete an already submitted enquiry.

08

Cookies, external content and your choices

Privacy & cookie preferences lets you accept, reject or separately select analytics and marketing. Both optional purposes are off until you choose them. A change in policy version or expiry requires a new choice.

Withdrawing an enabled purpose stops further optional measurement under that purpose, removes browser-accessible measurement cookies and local campaign attribution, and reloads the page to stop scripts already loaded. We cannot directly remove cookies on a provider’s own domain or HttpOnly cookies; your browser settings provide additional controls.

External video players are not connected until you choose to load them. Loading a video can disclose your IP address and browser information to the named provider and allow its storage or tracking. Ordinary external links are governed by the destination’s policies after you follow them.

09

Your privacy rights

Where applicable law provides these rights, you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, objection to processing and a portable copy of data processed by consent or contract using automated means. You may object to direct marketing and withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Email inquiry@theblacktapeproductions.com with the request and enough context to locate your record. We may request proportionate verification before disclosing or changing personal data. Do not send sensitive identity documents in the initial message. Where GDPR applies, requests are normally answered within one month; a permitted extension requires notice and reasons.

You can complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority, including in the EEA country where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred, or the UK Information Commissioner where UK law applies. You do not have to contact us first. Rights and complaint routes under Indian law apply to the extent the relevant provisions are in force and applicable.

10

Security and children’s information

We use access controls and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information. No website, transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected exposure to inquiry@theblacktapeproductions.com.

Commercial enquiry forms are intended for people acting for themselves or an organisation with authority. A parent or authorised guardian should contact us before submitting a child’s profile or media so the appropriate permissions and safeguards can be agreed.

11

This notice covers this website and the described intake channels. Project-specific or product-specific notices may provide additional information. We update this page when our practices change; a material change to optional tracking purposes requires a new browser choice. Using the website or accepting its terms does not imply consent to optional tracking.

These pages are written for website transparency and operational clarity. Project-specific contracts, invoices, proposals or written confirmations may contain additional terms.
